Basketball Recap: Lancaster Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Lancaster had won eight straight home games dating back to last season and Alena Wilson did her part to make it nine on Tuesday. The Lancaster Eagles walked away with a 53-43 victory over the Eastside Lions thanks in part to Wilson, who posted 40 points in addition to eight assists and six steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last ten times she's played.

Lancaster's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Eastside, they moved to 11-5 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster will welcome Quartz Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastside, they will be playing at home against Antelope Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Antelope Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.2 points per game this season.
