Softball Recap: Libby Takes a Loss

Libby lost against Columbia Falls back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Loggers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-4. The Loggers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Rachel Kosters was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double was her first of the season. Bently Houston was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Libby's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Columbia Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Coming up, Libby will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonners Ferry at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Falls, they will head out to challenge Frenchtown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
