Softball Recap: Chattooga Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Chattooga ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Gilmer Bobcats 4-3.

Chattooga now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gilmer, they dropped their record down to 3-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Chattooga will face off against Mt. Zion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gilmer, they will host Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The match will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
