Soccer Recap: San Juan Takes a Loss

San Juan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Lindhurst Blazers. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1197th, while the Blazers are ranked 567th).

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1. As for Lindhurst, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

San Juan has already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Highlands on the 27th. As for Lindhurst, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Rio Vista on the 27th.
