Andover is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Newton 42-27 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Railroaders: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Salina Central earned a 23-13 victory over Andover Central on Friday. The 23-point effort marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Andover's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Salina Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Andover was able to grind out a solid win over Salina Central when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 21-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
