Basketball Recap: San Francisco Waldorf Comes Up Short

San Francisco Waldorf was the 50-36 winner over Urban when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines fell 36-23 to the Urban Blues on Tuesday. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, San Francisco Waldorf still got an impressive performance from Henry Hanlon, who went 9 of 13 on her way to 18 points. That was a full 78.3% of San Francisco Waldorf's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

San Francisco Waldorf now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Urban, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

San Francisco Waldorf won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bentley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bentley's defense has only allowed 19 points per game this season, so San Francisco Waldorf's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Urban, they will be taking part in a tournament against Burton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Urban is facing Burton at the right time seeing as Burton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
