It's playoff time, and Monache had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Bakersfield Drillers to the tune of 60-13 on Friday. The Marauders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 32 points or more this season.

Milly Rojas continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Shelley Andrade, who posted eight points along with eight boards and five steals.

The win was the eighth in a row for Monache, bringing their record for this year to 21-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points over those games. As for Bakersfield, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Coming up, Monache will challenge Tehachapi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monache is on a six-game streak of home wins, Tehachapi a seven-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Bakersfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
