Fresno Christian is 7-2 against Sierra since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Fresno Christian Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Sierra Chieftains at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fresno Christian has five straight victories, Sierra has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Fresno Christian challenged Liberty on Friday. Fresno Christian won by a goal and slipped past Liberty 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Sierra came up short against Fowler on Friday, falling 13-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Chieftains were already down 6-2.

Fresno Christian's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 52 goals over those six matches. As for Sierra, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Fresno Christian took their victory against Sierra when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 14-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fresno Christian since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
