Football Recap: Ness City Takes a Loss

If Ness City was feeling good fresh off their 48-0 takedown of Macksville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles took a hard 34-18 fall against the Quinter Bulldogs on Friday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Ness City's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Quinter, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Ness City is taking a road trip to square off against Wichita County on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Quinter, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against LaCrosse.
