It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lindsay had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed past the Avenal Buccaneers to the tune of 65-36. The Cardinals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win was the third in a row for Lindsay, bringing their record for this year to 14-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Avenal, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lindsay will take on Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Avenal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
