After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodland Christian, Highlands was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the Vacaville Christian Falcons to the tune of 44-6. The result was nothing new for the Scots, who have now won three games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Walter Lewis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 256 yards and a touchdown while picking up 15.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 81 yards and two touchdowns on only seven passes. Those 256 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Oscar Millan also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Highlands was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 383 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Highlands wouldn't let Vacaville Christian keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Giovanni Rata, Tynel Moss Cole, and Ethian Mcgrath picked up one apiece.

Highlands' win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Vacaville Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

As of now, neither Highlands nor Vacaville Christian have any future games scheduled.
