Immaculate won against Stratford on Wednesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bethel Wildcats 4-2. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Immaculate's record now sits at 11-6. As for Bethel, they moved to 15-2 with that loss, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Immaculate will challenge rival Weston at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bethel is set to square off against their familiar foe New Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Wildcats have won 14 straight at home dating back to last season, while the Green Wave won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
