Football Game Preview: Atlas HomeSchool Rattlers vs. First Baptist Saints

Two dominant signal callers in Timmy Thames and Dylan Jones are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Atlas HomeSchool Rattlers will host the First Baptist Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atlas HomeSchool has given up an average of 36.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Atlas HomeSchool had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Legacy Christian Academy put an end to it on Thursday. The Rattlers were beaten by the Eagles 42-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Rattlers were not able to get on the board.

First Baptist played against Bishop Reicher Catholic on Friday and won via forfeit.

The win was the third in a row for First Baptist, bringing their record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.3 points on average over those games. As for Atlas HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
