Soccer Recap: Covington Comes Up Short

Covington's game on Thursday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the First Baptist Christian Knights by a score of 3-2.

Covington now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for First Baptist Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Covington and First Baptist Christian will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to face off against their familiar foe South Vermillion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, First Baptist Christian will challenge rival Logos Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
