Gustine's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Denair, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-9.

Gustine strolled past Denair in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 47-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gustine since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
