Western Christian took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolfpack came out on top in a nail-biter against the NIGHTHAWKS on Saturday, sneaking past 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Wolfpack: when they faced off against the NIGHTHAWKS on June 12th, they had to take a 11-3 defeat.

The victory made it two in a row for Western Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-14. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.

Western Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 loss against Sergeant Bluff-Luton on the 28th. As for Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, they will take on Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
