Central Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain View Bears. The Black Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Bears from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Central Gwinnett saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jude Alderete, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. That's the most hits Alderete has posted since back in March of 2024. Danny Francois also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Central Gwinnett's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mountain View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Looking ahead, Central Gwinnett is taking a road trip to square off against Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
