Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wahoo). Everything went their way against the Malcolm Clippers on Saturday as they made off with a 14-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Olivia Wesely and Avery Hanson did most of the damage at the plate: Wesely went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Hanson went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Hanson has posted since back in August of 2024. Karryn Eddie was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Wahoo has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Malcolm, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Looking ahead, Wahoo will take on Freeman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Malcolm, they have already played their next matchup, a 10-9 win against Nebraska City on the 27th.
