Basketball Recap: Buhach Colony Takes a Loss

Buhach Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 51-18 loss at the hands of the Golden Valley Cougars. The Thunder were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-8.

Golden Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaylin Scheurich led the charge by putting up 13 points. Another player making a difference was Ajaya Hudson, who posted 12 points.

Buhach Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Golden Valley, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-16 record.

Buhach Colony has already played their next game, a 90-10 loss against El Capitan on the 4th. As for Golden Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 77-17 defeat against Atwater on the 4th.
