Softball Recap: Naylor Takes a Loss

Naylor couldn't beat Doniphan on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles came up short against the Dons, falling 20-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Dons: they've now lost seven in a row.

Naylor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faithlynn ?Gracie? Tillman, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Naylor's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Doniphan, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Naylor will face off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Doniphan, they will head out to face off against Crocker at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
