Basketball Recap: Eastern York Comes Up Short

After soaring to 66 points the game before, Eastern York was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Boiling Springs Bubblers and fell 50-23. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Golden Knights have suffered since January 13th.

Molly Kimmel was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 25 points and 17 rebounds for Boiling Springs. That's the most points Kimmel has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Madyson Brownawell, who scored 12 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Eastern York has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. Boiling Springs' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 19-5.

Eastern York does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Boiling Springs will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Susquehanna Township at 7:00 p.m. on March 27th.
