Softball Recap: Peach County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Peach County can now relate to. They came up short against the Dawson County Tigers on Wednesday, falling 8-0. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peach County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-14. As for Dawson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

While Peach County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
