Soccer Game Preview: Milpitas vs. MacDonald

For the first time this season, Milpitas will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the MacDonald Condor at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Two weeks ago, Milpitas and Silver Creek finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, MacDonald kept a clean sheet against Prospect on December 11th. They beat the Panthers by a goal, winning 1-0.

MacDonald now has a winning record of 2-1. Milpitas' draw makes their record 2-1-2 this season.

Milpitas beat MacDonald by a goal in their previous matchup back in February, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
