Softball Recap: Bacon County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Bacon County and Brantley County meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Raiders came up short against the Herons, falling 11-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Herons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-2 loss on Thursday.

Bacon County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Brantley County, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bacon County will venture away from home to take on Charlton County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brantley County, they will take on Jeff Davis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Herons surely won't give up without a fight.
