Softball Recap: Arnett Comes Up Short

Arnett had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped down to 12-18 to make it four. They fell 3-0 to Seiling. The shutout was out of character for Arnett seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

As for Seiling, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.

For Seiling's part, not much got past Addie Fisher, who gave up just six hits to keep Arnett off the board.

At the plate, Seiling saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kason Newman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

As of now, neither Arnett nor Seiling have any future games scheduled.
