Softball Recap: Wilton Comes Up Short

Wilton managed to slip by Central DeWitt the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Beavers lost 11-1 to Central DeWitt on Saturday. The Beavers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Central DeWitt earlier this season, when they won 11-9.

Wilton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Central DeWitt, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-12.

Wilton has already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against Alburnett on the 14th. As for Central DeWitt, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 win against Calamus-Wheatland on the 14th.
