After losing to Milton the last time they met, Denmark decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Denmark walked away with a 6-1 victory over Milton on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Denmark.

Kurtis Maher tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alex Thompson, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Geno Goralski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Denmark's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Milton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Denmark will head out to take on Cherokee Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
