Recap: Olympian Eagles vs. Hilltop Lancers
The Olympian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 67-19 victory over Hilltop. Considering Olympian has won four games by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Asia Darcuiel, who scored 20 points along with six assists and four steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Olympian's points. Alyssa Agpaoa was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The victory got Olympian back to even at 5-5. As for Hilltop, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
Olympian is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Helix at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. Helix has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Hilltop will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on El Cajon Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
