Florida high school football: Week 7 schedule, scores

No. 6 Cocoa vs. No. 14 Seminole headlines three matchups between top 25 teams.

This weekend's high school football schedule in Florida includes a handful of intriguing matchups headlined by three games featuring top 25 teams going head-to-head.

No. 23 Booker T. Washington (Miami) travels to No. 7 Norland (Miami) Thursday night while No. 25 Western (Davie) hosts No. 5 American Heritage (Plantation) and No. 6 Cocoa hosts No. 14 Seminole (Sanford) Friday night.

Another game of intrigue on the slate Friday is a battle of unbeatens between No. 19 Benjamin (Palm Beach Gardens) travel to Palm Beach Central (Wellington).

Three top 10 teams nationally are in action Friday night also as MaxPreps Top 25 No. 3 Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood) faces Dillard (Fort Lauderdale), No. 4 IMG Academy (Bradenton) travels to Bartram Trail (St. Johns) and No. 10 Central (Miami) hosts Boyd Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes).

Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, the No. 1-ranked player in the country according to 247Sports, looks to continue to build his case for MaxPreps National Player of the Year honors as the Ohio State commit has hauled in 47 receptions for 701 yards and 10 touchdowns through six games to lead a high-powered offense that is averaging 38.5 points per contest.
