Recap: Lanesville Eagles vs. Crawford County Wolfpack

The Lanesville Eagles put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Crawford County by a score of 52-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lanesville also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Lanesville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hadley Crosier led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six steals. Ava Kerr was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and six rebounds.

Lanesville pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Crawford County, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.

Lanesville will head out on the road to face off against New Washington at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. New Washington is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. Crawford County will be home for the holidays to greet North Posey at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Posey will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Crawford County is ranked 74th).
