Fulton came out on top against Eugene on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Eagles 10-9. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Fulton's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Eugene, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Fulton will venture away from home to challenge Kirksville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eugene, they will welcome Harrisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
