Softball Recap: Grand Junction Tigers vs. Grandview Wolves
Grand Junction lost against Grandview back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grand Junction saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Clark, who went 3-for-4 with one double. That double marked the first that Clark has hit this season. Alysa Lorimor was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Grand Junction's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Grandview, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Coming up, Grand Junction will welcome Grand Junction Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Grandview, they will venture away from home to take on ThunderRidge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
