Softball Recap: Early County Starts Season with Loss at Home

Early County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Pelham Hornets on Wednesday, falling 17-0. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 15-13 to the Hornets when the teams met back in August of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pelham now has a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Early County is set to square off against their familiar foe Southwest Georgia STEM Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pelham will face off against rival Miller County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
