Basketball Recap: Ansley/Litchfield Takes a Loss

Ansley/Litchfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Loomis Wolves at home by a 38-22 margin. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Ansley/Litchfield lost, don't look at Bailey Hawkins. Despite the final result, she posted seven points. Caydence Feldman also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Ansley/Litchfield now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Loomis, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Ansley/Litchfield will be taking part in a tournament against Stuart at 11:00 a.m. on the 29th. As for Loomis, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-41 loss against Southern Valley on the 20th.
