Football Game Preview: Lackey Chargers vs. Westlake Wolverines + How To Watch

The Lackey Chargers will head out to face off against the Westlake Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lackey is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Great Mills just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost to the Hornets at home by a 28-14 margin.

Lackey's defeat came about despite a quality game from Ronald Johnson, who rushed for 72 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Westlake played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against North Point, falling 29-3. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-3.

Lackey's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Westlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Lackey ended up a good deal behind Westlake in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 21-7. Thankfully for the Chargers, Devin Cox (who rushed for 143 yards and three scores) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
