Baseball Recap: Skipstone Academy Comes Up Short

Skipstone Academy and Creekside Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Skipstone Academy had to settle for second. They lost 7-1 to the Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Storm Bradley made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.

Skipstone Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Creekside Christian Academy, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 19-4.

While Skipstone Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
