Ripon is 10-0 against Hughson since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Ripon Indians will host the Hughson Huskies at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ripon has eight straight victories, Hughson has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Ripon's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Hilmar with a sharp 3-0 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Olivia Maragos was the driving force of Ripon's attack as she scored all three of Ripon's goals, bringing her season total up to 26 goals.

Meanwhile, Hughson and Hilmar combined for ten shots on goal on Tuesday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. Hughson came up short against Hilmar, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 883rd, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 334th).

Ripon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those ten games. As for Hughson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11-1.

Everything went Ripon's way against Hughson in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Ripon made off with a 6-0 victory. Will Ripon repeat their success, or does Hughson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
