GV Christian is a perfect 5-0 against White Pine since October of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Guardians will head out to challenge the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as GV Christian comes in on 13 and White Pine on four.

On Thursday, GV Christian beat Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 18-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when White Pine faced off against Awaken Christian on Friday. The Bobcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lions.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant White Pine was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-12.

GV Christian's record is now 19-4. As for White Pine, their record now sits at 18-3.

GV Christian took their victory against White Pine in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Guardians since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
