Memphis East had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Cordova on Monday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Wolves. The result was nothing new for Memphis East, who have now won four games by four goals or more so far this season.

Kate Ashby and Addyson Hines scored all four of Memphis East's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Memphis East's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Cordova, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Memphis East will take on Raleigh-Egypt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cordova, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 9-0 win against Douglass on the 9th.
