Softball Recap: Putnam City North Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grant on Monday, Putnam City North came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the El Reno Indians by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Putnam City North has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for El Reno, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Putnam City North has already played their next matchup, a 27-0 loss against Enid on the 21st. El Reno has also already played their next game (against Guthrie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
