Palisades has gone 10-0 against Westchester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Palisades Dolphins are taking a road trip to challenge the Westchester Comets at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Palisades has three straight wins, Westchester has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Palisades gave up the first goal on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged Wiseburn- Da Vinci out 2-1. Given the Dolphins' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Wolves are ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Caroline Quigley and Leila Jafari scored both of Palisades' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Westchester lost 7-1 to Venice on Friday.

Palisades pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Westchester, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

Palisades took their win against Westchester when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. Does Palisades have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westchester turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
