Valmeyer's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Gateway Science Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Valmeyer has already played their next match, an 8-1 defeat against Carlyle on the 2nd. As for Gateway Science Academy, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Gateway Tech at 4:30 p.m.
