Basketball Recap: Reynolds Comes Up Short

Reynolds lost against Lakeview back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Reynolds Raiders were outmatched by the Lakeview Sailors and fell 55-20. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 595th, while the Sailors are ranked 201st).

This is the second loss in a row for Reynolds and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Lakeview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reynolds will head out to challenge West Middlesex at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Reynolds is facing West Middlesex at the right time seeing as West Middlesex is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Lakeview has already played their next matchup (against Kennedy Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
