Recap: Charleroi Cougars vs. Ringgold Rams
The Charleroi Cougars can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They breezed by Ringgold at home to the tune of 56-25. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Charleroi has managed all season.
Addison Conrad was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Jones, who scored nine points.
The victory got Charleroi back to even at 5-5. As for Ringgold, they bumped their record down to 2-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charleroi will take on South Park at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Park presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Charleroi in Pennsylvania (South Park is ranked 165th, while Charleroi is ranked 443rd). As for Ringgold, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Uniontown at 7:00 p.m.
