Middletown posted their closest win since February 19, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Boiling Springs Bubblers 42-39. The Blue Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bubblers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Boiling Springs' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Madyson Brownawell, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards, and Gillian Mandell, who posted six points and six rebounds. That's the most points Brownawell has posted since back in December of 2024.

Middletown's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Boiling Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-3.

Coming up, Middletown will challenge Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Middletown surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boiling Springs, they will take on Susquehanna Township at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
