Baseball Recap: Monroe Golden Tornadoes vs. Mitchell County Eagles
After only two runs in their last matchup, Monroe made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mitchell County on Wednesday. The Monroe Golden Tornadoes put the hurt on the Mitchell County Eagles with a sharp 17-2 victory. The Golden Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.
Bradyn Chamberlain made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over five innings pitched.
