Soccer Recap: Bear River Comes Up Short

Bear River lost against Lincoln back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bear River Bruins came up short against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1084th, while the Fighting Zebras are ranked 260th).

Bear River has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-15-2 record this season. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Bear River has already played their next contest (against Marysville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 9-0 victory against Center on the 30th.
