Basketball Recap: Harris County Tigers vs. Spencer Greenwave
Harris County extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 20 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They took a blow against the Spencer Greenwave, falling 86-50. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Greenwave from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Harris County still got an impressive performance from Miles Robinson, who posted 19 points and seven boards. With that strong performance, Robinson is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game. Another player making a difference was Solomon Sparks, who scored nine points and six rebounds.
As for Spencer, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 77.5 points this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spencer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dashawn Canty, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. Canty is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Jamarion Griffin was another key player, putting up 15 points.
Coming up, Harris County will square off against Hardaway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Spencer, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-42 win against Arlington Christian on the 6th.
