Soccer Recap: Jackson County Victorious

Jackson County proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Hillgrove Hawks.

Jackson County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. With the defeat, Hillgrove broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Jackson County will be taking part in a tournament against Creekview at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hillgrove, they will challenge Pope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillgrove is facing Pope at the right time seeing as Pope is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
