Soccer Game Preview: Los Angeles vs. Gertz-Ressler

The Los Angeles Romans will face off against the Gertz-Ressler Pumas at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Los Angeles turned things around against Manual Arts on Wednesday. Both finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result was nothing new for the Romans as the squad has yet to pick up a win this season.

Meanwhile, Gertz-Ressler waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They beat the Cardinals by a goal, winning 3-2. While the Pumas didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-9-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Los Angeles' draw makes their record 0-5-1 this season. As for Gertz-Ressler, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
